Karo Healthcare appoints Egil Mølsted Madsen as CFO

We are pleased to announce that Egil Mølsted Madsen will assume the role of CFO at Karo starting on 3 October 2024.

Egil, a Danish national, brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles as CFO in the healthcare sector at companies such as Atos Medical, SSI Diagnostica and Agilent/Dako, as well as valuable experience in operating within a private equity context. Egil has over 15 years of experience as a CFO and qualified as a state authorised public accountant before moving into operational finance roles.

Egil will take over from Jon Johnsson, who has been Karo’s CFO for five years and has overseen the company’s finances in a period of rapid growth and de-listing from the Stockholm Stock Exchange. He has put in place the digital, scalable operations and finance platform, which the company will build on and leverage in its future expansion. As announced in June by the Swedish real estate company, Bonava, Jon will take on the role as CFO there in January. Until then, Jon will work side-by-side with Egil to secure a smooth transfer and handover.

Egil will have his base in Karo’s Stockholm offices.
